Get Out Of My Head Get Into My Heart How To Succeed By Being True To Yourself
By: Velma Gallant

Do you live in your head or your heart? If you?re not really sure, take a look at your life. Are you doing what you love? Is your life flowing effortlessly? Are you filled with joy, peace and content?

If you answered no to one or more of these questions, chances are you?re living in your head. So how do you get out of your head and into your heart? The first step is to be aware. Are you Thinking or Feeling your way through things?

Do you have times where you think you should do one thing, but you feel you should do another? Which do you end up following? The Thought or the Feeling? If you?re not quite ready to follow those feelings, there is something you can do about that. Begin to Journal when you get those ?feelings?. Just make note of them, and watch your results from following your thoughts. Are they what you expected? Did you get insight later that your ?feelings? were on target?

Once you do this for a short time, you?ll begin to notice how often your ?feelings? are on the mark. It may surprise you how often you are on target.

The next step will be to follow those feelings more often. Now I?m not saying jump into the feelings that bring up fear at the thought of taking that action. Start with the little things. Try parking spaces, for example. Which aisle do you feel you should turn down?

You can try with buying books or programs. I do that, and I have yet to be disappointed with my ?feeling found? treasures.

Gradually, as you trust your feelings more, you can follow them more often. Before long, you?ll find yourself more often in your Heart and out of your Head. And you?ll also find yourself living a more joy-filled life too. Note: Did you sing the title like I did? The tune from Get Out of my Dreams ? Get into my Car. Or am I dating myself? LOL
